We are located in Howell, MI on a farm where animals and owners can relax, learn, and have fun. I offer dog training classes throughout the year in a number of venues and clinics. We have a number of animals here as we breed working Border Collies, Finn sheep, and Indian Runner ducks. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or would like to visit. We are closed Mondays and Wednesdays. Borderhauss Kennels is fully insured.

 We have indoor classes, on dirt. All year we offer group classes each week plus private lessons in agility, basic obedience, trick, herding and dog sledding. We have a full agility course along with smaller equipment to accommodate puppies and beginners.

 I started training with Laura when my husband and I rescued our border collie, Hickory. He came to us with many issues from his past situation. When we were looking for a young companion for Hickory we fell in love with Lola, daughter of Skoot and Rocket.
In typical border collie fashion, Hickory and Lola had a natural affinity for agility, but I did not. Laura has been such a great trainer for me. The combination of her knowledge of the sport and dog behavior in addition to very personal and specific instructions has helped teach me how to control Lola's exuberance and still have fun with agility. It has been such a positive experience training with Laura and developing a bond with Lola and Hickory that will last a lifetime.
