Brilliant Borderhauss Dog Training
Where training dogs is a lifestyle, not just a class.
Lifeskills Dog Training
Welcome to Borderhauss Lifeskills Training. All of your lessons are broken into easy skills to practice because we take a whole dog approach to basic manners. Our classes are centered around the whole puppy from body awareness, impulse control, common issues and basic manners. We encourage the whole family to come and especially your children. The theme around our classes is fun! We play games, have prizes and in the end the dog learns. The most important part is to have fun and enjoy your dog and your time together.

Puppy Preschool
AKC S.T.A.R Puppy (6 weeks)
This class is for anyone with a puppy under 6 months. You will learn basics of sit, down, stay and how to teach impulse control. We will also play puppy games that transfer the value of the reward to you so you don't have to bribe your pup! You will learn how to get the puppy that listens with distractions, walks on a leash and sits happily in a crate. We will cover how often and when to reward. We will also start puppy fitness and body awareness that is perfect for your new puppy to get a great start as everything is age appropriate. As an AKC evaluator I will be able to assess your puppy for the AKC S.T.A.R. puppy program.
"Hound about Town"

The CGC 1 class is about building that foundation for your relationship between you and your dog. These skills will help create automatic habits for both you and your dog that include recalls, loose leash walking, impulse control and how to ignore distractions.
